Job Description
We are looking for a Product Graphic Designerto support the creative and product development process across the Dymocks Gifting Ranges. This role suits someone who is highly organised, visually strong, and confident working across both design execution and day-to-day product development support.
The ideal person will have a sharp eye for detail, strong layout and design skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across packaging, print, product artwork, and supporting product development requests.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key responsibilities
Design and develop placement and repeat prints for gifting, stationery and accessories
Prepare AI files for print and production, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency
Design and develop packaging artwork across a range of products
Create print design assets for marketing, sales, and brand collateral
Produce graphic design for placement prints
Design POS materials and other retail support assets
Prepare and manage product imagery for internal and external use
Create lookbooks and line sheets for sales and marketing purposes
Produce accurate and presentation-ready product CADs
Assist with product development requests, including updates, artwork amendments, and coordination of design-related tasks
Work closely with internal teams to support timelines, approvals, and product launches
Maintain organised design files, artwork records, and product documentation
Skills and experience
Proven experience in a graphic design role, ideally within product-based, retail, fashion, homewares, beauty, or consumer goods
Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
Experience creating artwork for packaging, print, and product-related design
Ability to create lookbooks, line sheets, product imagery, and CADs
Understanding of print production processes and preparing artwork for suppliers
Strong layout, typography, and visual communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong organisational and administrative skills
A collaborative attitude and willingness to support both creative and product development teams
